Is it the time to change your toothbrush?

When was the last time you changed your toothbrush? We throw all the expired food, drinks, tablets, beauty products, but when it comes to health, it’s only our dental hygiene which doesn’t get attention. For good oral health and optimal dental health you have to follow many rules.
Most of the scientists and dentists prefer changing the toothbrush for every 3 months. When you’re using the toothbrush more than 3 months then it loses it bristles and it becomes less effective on our teeth. It doesn’t remove the plaque from teeth and gums; this becomes the main reason for dental problems for all age groups. The other reason is that germs can hide and build up in toothbrush bristles. Fungus and bacteria develops in the bristles if care is not given properly. So this is the main reason to change your toothbrush for every 3 months and you should change the brush if you had suffered from cold or any infectious disease.
After using the toothbrush, you should rinse it and dry it properly. You should store it uncovered in an upright position and it should be kept away from all the toothbrushes. While travelling also you should cover the toothbrush head so that the spread of gums will be reduced. Germs and bacteria can also develop in the bristles if not taken care of properly. After use, store it uncovered and keep it away from other toothbrushes. When traveling, cover your toothbrush to reduce the spread of germs.
If you don’t remember when did you change your toothbrush then have a look at your toothbrush, if its bristles are worn out or if you observe any dark color changes like mold then it’s the perfect time to change your toothbrush.
What to Consider while Shopping Dental Products?
